The SIU Administrative Information System (AIS) Training team is committed to providing effective, timely and relevant instruction to department end users expected to access AIS. Department end users exclude Central Business Offices staff, e.g., Purchasing, Accounts Payable, etc.
The Training & Documentation team has joined with subject matter experts from the University’s central business offices to develop SIU-specific materials. This endeavor resulted in the design and development of an End-user eLearning Program with criteria based on the following objectives.
You can begin your self-directed, End-User training here, or select the eLearning Tutorials link from the navigation menu on the left of this page.
In addition to the end-user eLearning Program, responsibilities with data entry capability typically require hands-on, instructor-led training. All end-user hands-on training is conducted at various training sites on the Carbondale, Edwardsville, and Springfield campuses.
For specific questions or to REGISTER for hands-on instructor led training, please contact your respective campus, as noted below. For answers to basic training questions you may have, please review our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s).
